But we all know people come to the game because they love home runs. And just think about it: when was the last time you hit a home run while only swinging for a base hit? Brilliant ideas comes when we support a culture of devoid of walls, constraints and people-pleasing-ideology. It's okay to fail. As long as you get right back up and try again. And again. And again. Because eventually you're going to totally nail it—and that is all that matters.
No one will ever ask how many times you failed. They only care that you ended up f*cking killing it. I feel like way too much time is wasted appeasing hurt feelings, seeking safe solutions or satisfying someone's ego. It's amazing when you finally rid of ego and comes to terms that no idea is sacred (even if you've been developing something for ages), how many home runs there are to hit.
